Badgeless at Comic-Con 2015

I didn't have a ticket to comic con this year again. I didn't try so hard to get one either. I had so much fun last year having lunch at my favorite irish resturant The Field downtown and enjoying the spectacle that we had a repeat performance this year.
We got downtown by parking at Fashion Valley and taking the Green Line Trolley to the convention center. This year it only took us an hour and a half to get into downtown.

Here is a photo of us waiting for the trolley

Conan was doing some live taping at the sprekles theather so there was an adorable banner on the Marriot.

This dog is driving that little car!

We both ordered Black Velvets at The Field. Even though the guinness and the cider look seperated on the cup, it tastes pretty well mixed when you drink it. Someone told me once that they put the cider in first then poor the guinness into a spoon. The black and velvets along make me want to visit ireland someday.
Alex ordered The fish and chips.
I ordered my favorite thing every which is a vegetarian boxty.

I saw the same Game of Thrones Pedicab that I captured last year

There were all these KFC statues everywhere? I'm not sure what that was about.

This guy must have been so hot in his costume!

The Assasins Creed obstacle course was Alex's Favorite part. Some people were really good, some people were not so good. It was fun to watch.

The bible thumpers get more creative every year.

Sharknado 3! Men on stilts wearing sharks is a hilarious way to advertise the movie.

This balloon hit alex on the head.

 Free robots.

Things started getting crowded and I started to regret having not one but two black velvets for lunch. I also started feeling a little red around the shoulders.

Alex took this photo of a dog that looks like a lion.
There is a tall woman in this photo that is not on stilts. She is saying burp.

We didn't end up going to many events out side of the con this year, but we hardly felt like facing the crowds. There is a website that exists this year but not last called "outside comic con" which helps people like us have fun without tickets. I did notice though that because of excellent resources like this, it was difficult for us interlopers to get around.

I complain, but we will probably be back next year.
